I have frequented the Silver Lake location quite a bit. Their Tom Kha soup(shitake and bamboo shoots one) is really something else. Ive tried slight variations of that soup at other vegan restaurants, and they just dont measure up at all.

Only been to the Wilcox location once, probably cause they don't/didn't have their own parking area. And street parking is a bit hard to find around there, especially at night.

Nice to hear they were finally open for you :)

I get the incredibly similar BBQ tofu at Lotus Vegan... same thing... lightly grilled slabs of tofu coated in BBQ sauce. So simple and something I could so easily make at home, but instead I spend money and have these people do it for me instead, because they do it better.

How fun that there are unadvertised items on the in-house menu! Yet another fabulous vegan restaurant to add to my list to try. We are so lucky in LA. :)
