i’m super excited because today’s video is on our favorite pub in los angeles, tony’s darts away. many of you are probably familiar with the numerous meatless sausage options at tony’s…but did you know about the long list of inventive rotating daily specials, most of which are vegan? we caught up with chef randy st. clair and learned how he makes traditional meat offerings vegan, as well as his favorite vegetable based dishes. if you haven’t been to tony’s darts away yet, definitely check it out. the food and beer cannot be beat.

if you must watch football this weekend, tony’s darts away is the place to do it. they’re going nuts with a vegan super bowl menu that will include: wings with ranch dressing, tortilla chips and five layer dip, frito pie, and jackfruit sliders. the normal menu will be available as well.
oh, and golden road beers will be on sale for $3.50 each. TOUCHDOWN!
vegan banh mi special at tony’s darts away! i tried a bite of brittany’s and was super impressed. at first i was skeptical because it didn’t look like your usual vegetarian banh mi—-it was made with seitan (not tofu) on a typical roll (not a baguette). i was dead wrong though; this thing ruled! the flavors were exquisite and it was spicy as fuck. try it.
the weekend is almost here which means two days of BRUNCH coming up at tony’s darts away from 10am-afternoonish. this only happens on saturday and sunday, so get with it. my favorite thing thus far is the breakfast burrito: quinoa & tofu all scrambled up, onions and salsa in a giant tortilla. it normally comes with daiya and bell peppers—-but i opt out of both.
