222 veggie vegan is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in london. they offer a vegan lunch buffet daily from noon-3:30pm for £7.50, which seems to get better with each visit. today i filled up on a load of brown rice, creamy chickpea curry, salads, the best lasagne i’ve ever had (seriously!), and tofu quiche.
tried this for the first time yesterday at a pub. now i’m hooked: “Mulled wine, variations of which are popular in Europe, is wine, usually red, combined with spices and typically served warm. It is a traditional drink during winter, especially around Christmas and Halloween.”
chipotle in london! just checked out the chipotle on baker st., and appearance-wise, it was just like an american chipotle. i got a vegetarian burrito with black beans (they warned me the pinto beans contained bacon w/o me asking, yay!), brown rice (a new addition to chipotle), 3 types of salsas, and lettuce. the burrito was fantastic, albeit about a third smaller than the gigantic US sized burrito i’m accustomed to…probably not a bad thing. i’ll be back!
vegan breakfast in london: tofu scramble on toast at camden’s inspiral lounge. served 9am-11:30am. £2.45
